Located in highlands, with an abundance of woods the Hons of Daell are considered different than most Hons. The saying that inhospitable lands breed inhospitable people might have some truth when considering the Hons of Daell . It is currently the area where one can have the biggest chance to encounter wild dire wolves, something that isn't recommended. Not to mention that with the small mountainous and many hills area in the borders of Daell, most who are familiar with the dangers and people of Daell tend to travel around the area, not willing to risk to endanger their own lives with the dangerous creatures that dwell there nor with the fierce locals.

Hilde Hon

The current leader of House of Daell, Hilde Hon. Nicked as the 'Lady of Iron'.

The ruling lineage and family in Daell are that of Steinar. Much like the people, the Steinar lineage rules over, the jarls of Daell have been always known for their fierce attitude. The current ruler of Daell is Hilde Hon. A woman who is much like her predecessors, known for her stern and fierce attitude. Loyal as she may be to the entire Hon clan, she has made no secret of what she thinks of those who haven't proven their worth. And even then it has always been quite a challenge to impress Hilde. Other than her iron fist of ruling, she is known to be a capable warrior, following the example of her ancestor Ragnhilde Hon of the Steinar lineage.

 Thegns and Hersirs

Various places are being ruled over by thegns and hersirs in the name of the House of Daell and its leader. Most of these thegns and hersirs earned the approval of ruling over these sites from the jarl of Ecla as they can't just inherit the land and claim it as their birthright. Once approval has been earned, the thegn or hersir has a responsibility to the people who live on the land he or she needs to govern, in the name of their jarls. Within each Hon House there are many hersirs and lesser thegns, while there are a few powerful thegns that rule over more prosperous (or larger/important) settlements in the name of their jarl.
